Facebook restricting thousands of pages these days…

You can see on all platforms, people are discussing that their pages are restricted, Fiverr, Upwork and other freelancing platforms have tons of requests from individuals and companies that want to reactivate their accounts.

Why does facebook restrict your page?

Based on my research, it happens due to two things:

Violating facebook policies

• Some violations are images/videos are not appropriate, using before and after images, targeting personal attributes, not a proper functional landing page, etc
• ID verification was done previously

Without Any Reason

Even if you are following all facebook guidelines, still sometimes this happens and Facebook restricts your account.

So what to do if your Facebook page is restricted?

1. Most of the time, ID verification is required, so you need to verify your ID with Facebook.
2. I recommend uploading your ID from your mobile and take picture of your ID at that time, do not use the previously taken images of your ID

1. Once your Facebook page is restricted, Facebook starts rejecting your active campaigns. You need to pause those campaigns if they are still not rejected from Facebook. If they reject those campaigns, I recommend removing those campaigns from the ads manager.
2. You can add a person as an admin on your Facebook whose ID was previously verified from Facebook and then send the request to review from his account.
3. Contact a Facebook representative on Messenger chat while your ID is in review and explain the situation (most of the time, they cannot help you, but you can still rely on them to open your case with their internal team).

This complete process previously took 48-72 hours of business days, but these days, they are even taking more than one week to review your ID, so you need to have patience.

As a backup plan, you can create your new page as well because if they reject your ID or request a review, you’ll not be able to run your ads.
